Active Class
Students and teachers will ski, snowboard and do an activity together in the great outdoors of Whistler. During this class, teachers will lead the students to have conversations and will teach Canadian life, culture, and mannerisms. Focus will be on daily conversation, slang and expressions that are not usually taught in class. Having fun while learning English in an English speaking environment is the way of our ALS (Active Learning System).

ESL class
Our ESL is split in to two sections, Conversation and Academic. The Conversation class is conducted by the Active Class teacher and common conversational phrases in vocabulary will be taught. The Academic ESL class will involve using textbooks and students will learn the fundamentals of grammar. All classes will limit the number of students (max 10 students / class) and has 5 levels.

Snowboard CASI License
CASI(Canadian of Snowboard Instructors) has 4 levels. The purpose of this program is to prepare students to efficiently pass and achieve the CASI license. The students will learn the skills needed by a local professional snowboarder. We will guarantee the CASI level 1 license for any student who enrols in our program for over 2 months. CASI Level 2 will be guaranteed for any student who enrols for over 5 months. We guarantee at least a level 1 even for students who have never skied or snowboarded.

Students will have the chance to live in the same dormitory as teachers and instructors. WEC has a strong English Only Policy and students will be able to practice what they learned during the day outside of the classroom.

Activity
Activities also include going to movies, restaurants, shopping, trendy stores, tube park, clubs.
